Modena and Maranello: following the steps of the Drake
FULL-DAY (UP TO 6 HOURS)
In the morning we’ll reach the little town of Maranello, which since 1943 has been home to the most prestigious car factory of the world, a perfect mix of passion and high technology. We’ll visit the Ferrari Museum where legendary historic models are on display.
After a rich lunch based on traditional dishes, we’ll visit Modena’s old city center, in particular Piazza Grande, with the Ghirlandina Tower and the Romanesque Cathedral, included in UNESCO World Heritage Sites, or an Acetaia where the processing and ageing process of exclusive Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale will be explained. As an alternative, in Modena we can also visit Museo Casa di Enzo Ferrari, which includes the house in which the Drake was born in 1898 and an exhibition gallery having the shape of a yellow aluminium “hood”, a state-of-the-art building designed to tell the world how the dream of a man can become a legend.
